Usage Case Study

THK Rhythm Automotive

Plant-Tours.com supplies THK Rhythm Automotive communications systems for both tours and ship floor meetings in their manufacturing facilities in the U.S. and Canada. THK Rhythm produces components for a wide variety of motor vehicles, including cars, tractor-trailers, commercial, vocational, and agriculture vehicles. These products range from ball joints, stabilizer links, tie rods, and control arms.

THK contacted Plant-Tours.com for a system to project the most professional image possible when hosting special visitors. They also desired the ability to efficiently conduct floor meetings in the shop areas of the factory. The Executive Assistant to the Plant Manager requested a free Demo Kit to present to the PM and the HR Director for their thorough evaluation. After careful review, the THK team selected the Premier one way tour guide system featuring the PT-5100 Transmitter with the patented PT-5370 Over-the-Head All-In-One Headset and Combo Microphone. Their 30 unit order accommodates all their requirements, including the easy and portable PT-3000 Charging and Storage Case with wheels and retractable handle.

The PT-5100 allows the leader/tour guide the convenience of hearing every question asked and replying through a single headset and microphone. This revolutionary headset allows the leader to clearly hear themselves, critical in a higher noise environment, which the MT-370 headsets are specially designed for. The PT-5100 features a handy Mute switch for instant privacy and is extremely intuitive, unlike other systems that require multiple button pressing, wasted time and annoying effort. This Plant-Tours.com exclusive is created for simplicity and “pick it up and go” user-friendly, hassle-free use. No thick instruction manual is needed with the Plant-Tours.com system and the PT-5100-is charged up and ready to go when you are.

By purchasing this system, THK was able to lock in a solution for multiple applications for their internal staff and special outside VIP guests. Plant-Tours.com has furnished their other plants in the U.S. and Canada with similar systems.
